Policies
Refunds
Once you book a consultation or place your order for a subscription or a la carte item, we are unable to offer refunds. Please reach out as soon as possible if you need to reschedule via our contact us form. If you miss your scheduled time for meeting or produce pick up, or have not made alternate arrangements with us at least 48 hours prior, we will not accommodate rescheduling. Your payment will be used toward our donations to essential or frontline workers, elders, or non-profits/mutual aid organizations serving BIPOC communities.
Crop Failure
In the event of catastrophic crop failure (pest infestation or plant disease), or prohibitive weather conditions that make planting and harvesting dangerous (e.g. poor air quality from smoke), we will source produce from other local BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) farmers and producers. If this is not possible, then we will offer refunds or reschedule your produce pickup to another point this season.
Holidays
Our farmers and volunteers will pause the weekends of Memorial Day (May 26th), Juneteenth (June 19th), and Independence Day (July 4th) to recuperate, allow the fields to flourish, and enjoy some much needed rest with their families.
